My Work
The WICI Club
WICI is a club that a group of seven other girls and I started at the University of Oregon. It is really for anyone that wants to join, but WICI stands for Women in Creative Industries. At the University of Oregon, we have other clubs like, Women in Business and Women in STEM. My friends and I felt like there needed to be a place for the arts, journalism, architecture, dance, and so many other students that go here, feel like they have a place to express themselves. With this club, we have all female guest speakers come in and share their personal experiences in the creative work world. We also hold creative workshops that include writing, mood boards and editing skills. Click the WICI link at the top to see the website I helped design!
The L’Oréal Paris Campaign
During the winter of 2019 in my advanced advertising class, the goal of our project was to create a campaign targeted to a group of people who are the minority to that product. My group and I decided to target men in makeup and encourage them to wear makeup if they want to. We wrote the create brief, designed all of the artwork and plans, and photographed our real male friends wearing makeup for this project. Our professor gave us an A on this project that we spent most of the term working on. I loved working with a new group of people and collaborating our ideas on what we thought would work best with this project! The campaign can be seen when clicked on the button below!
The Tazo Campaign
This campaign book was made in my advanced advertising class called writing and design concepts. We had to pick a brand and create a campaign for them to help reposition the company in a new light. Click the button below to look through this project!
Disney Media Storytelling
For an assignment given to me during my studies abroad in London, I had to tell a social media story using pictures, videos and other articles. I researched the topic of Disney, and why they are making so many live-action remakes to their classic films from so long ago. This was a fun assignment for me, as I am very interested in the whole Disney franchise.
A PR Plan
In one of my advanced public relations class, I worked with a group to develop an articulated and detailed plan on a client chosen by our professor. For my class, the client was the Oregon Math Project and we worked with them to help develop a campaign on a universal mathematical program for the state of Oregon grades K-12. The campaign can be seen when clicked on the button below.
Hayward track and field
In my final campaigns class at the University of Oregon, we had the opportunity to work with Wieden and Kennedy which is an advertising agency based in Portland, Oregon. Hayward Stadium is famous in the track and field world. We have it based right here in Eugene, Oregon. My class got to help with repositioning Hayward track and field since it has been on the back burner for some time while Hayward has been under construction. Our job was to get people interested in the events coming up in the summer of 2021, but virtually. Due to COVID-19, our whole campaign was based around the fact that everything had to be done virtually. You can see what my group and I came up with when clicked on the button below! I was the media strategist for my group.
